Manufacturing, Retail and Distribution Center, Toronto


In July 1940, in response to war production needs, Lincoln Electric commenced construction of its current headquarters in Toronto, Ontario. From then till now, the Canadian Headquarters based in Toronto have expanded and diversified to include a Machine Division manufacturing industrial welders, Consumables Division producing Cored and Solid Wires, Retail Center dealing with welding accessories as well as the Corporate Office. Down the road, there is also a Distribution Center to facilitate the delivery of our products domestically and internationally.


Automated Solutions Group, Mississauga, ON


In 1999, Lincoln Electric Company of Canada acquired Automation Division (ASG). Lincoln Electric Automation Division integrates robotic arc welding equipment and automated welding systems to help you decrease manufacturing costs, increase weld quality, improve welding productivity and enhance your working environment.


Aluminum Solutions, Mississauga, ON


In 1998, Lincoln Electric Co. purchased Indalco Alloys, a Mississauga, Ontario, producer of aluminum rod and wire products. The acquisition of this Canadian firm brought greater control for Lincoln Electric in its supply of aluminum welding wire.  Indalco owns and operates its own aluminum-rod mill, which is unique among welding-wire suppliers.


Burlington Automation, Dundas, ON & Inovatech, Vankleek Hill, ON


In 2013, Lincoln Electric acquired Burlington Automation, followed by the acquisition of Inovatech in 2018 to join our Cutting Solutions Business with specialty in design and manufacturing of automatic CNC metal fabrication machinery, tube finishing and material handling equipment.


Electrodes, Montreal, QC


In 2017, Lincoln Electric acquired Montreal operations from Air Liquide. In this location, the Company mostly manufactures consumable solid wire.

Internships

Our Internship/Co-op Program is designed to allow students to gain practical work experience that will prepare them for a future with Lincoln Electric. This multi-semester program provides students the opportunity to work on extensive assignments.

Technical Sales Development Program

This 9-month program is designed for engineering graduates that desire a career that offers a high degree of personal interaction with colleagues, customers and distributors. A key component of this career track is providing technical solutions to customers regarding the Lincoln Electric suite of products and applications. Being a key member of The Lincoln Electric sales team entails partnering with various team members within the organization to service our client and distributor groups with the highest levels of customer service and expertise. Program participants will experience technical training in welding processes and new technologies. In addition, all participants study at Lincoln's world-renowned Welding Technology Center based in Cleveland, Ohio, where they receive hands-on welding training and gain in-depth knowledge about our products and applications.

As a graduate of this program, you will earn the title of Technical Sales Representative and be assigned to one of the numerous, exciting Lincoln Electric sales offices located in major territories across Canada. As a program participant and as a Technical Sales Rep, you will benefit from the Lincoln Electric Company’s reputation in the marketplace as The Welding Experts. In short, this career path allows you to build rewarding relationships with customers and distributors and apply your technical, engineering knowledge.
